15th, 10th, and 4th

We won!

The L.A. Lakers can hang a 15th banner from the rafters at Staples Center. Phil Jackson passes Red Auerbach’s previous record and gets his 10th championship win as a coach, the most ever. Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher win their fourth rings.

Today is a good day to be a Laker fan. :)

Work team-building. Oh, the fun.

Like every other work place, mine does team-building exercises. They split us into four teams, and use our call center stats to get an average index for each team. We get to pick our team’s name, and each names goes on the picture of the race car symbolizing that particular team (ours was a red Bugatti), and a poster of a race track is put up on the wall. Hoops and Hair Horrors

I have noticed a disturbing trend in the NBA playoffs: The increasingly horrible hair styles of the Lakers’ opponents.

We started with Deron Williams in the first round: Shiny, glossy, like a the still wet pelt of a dead otter glued to his head. You could even see the wavy structure of the fur if you looked closely. Continue reading
